You will need:
17x20 baking sheet
parchment paper
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup melted butter also some non-melted butter[no measurement required]
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
3 eggs
1/2 cup browm sugar
Brick of Ice Cream
Big bowl
Smaller bowl [Not too small!!!]
Whisk
Cooling racks
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Now sift all dry ingredients into one big bowl
Next with the whisk beat together the melted butter, eggs and brown sugar in the smaller bowl
Then fold in the wet ingredients into the big bowl & then finally add in the melted chocolate
With the parchment paper line the baking sheet and with the non - melted butter,
butter the parchment and the part that wasn't covered with the parchment paper
Next pour in the mix into the baking sheet evenly and place the baking sheet on to the middle shelf
and bake for 15 minutes approx. [if it looks baked like a brownie then take it out of the oven even if 15
minutes isn't over]
Then when cookie comes out of the oven let cool on counter when cookie is cooled place the cooling racks over top of the cookie in the baking sheet and flip the cookie on to the cooling racks and peel off parchment paper slowly flip the cookie so the shiny side is facing up
Cut the cookie in half length ways
Cut brick of ice cream in thirds length ways evenly and then take two of the ice cream bricks and place them length ways on to the cookie
Cut the edges off and throw them out or eat them:-]
Finally cut the ice cream sandwich into bars and ENJOY!!!!
P.S. the ice cream can be any flavour you want it to be!!
P.P.S. *I was inspired to make this recipe by watching Ricardo Larrivee's show on the Food Network Canada!!!
